    Cookie Policy

    Last updated: August 3, 2026

    1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage. This policy explains which cookies and local storage entries PixelWall.art uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

    2. Strictly Necessary

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They include: your authentication session (stored by our backend so you stay logged in), your cookie consent choice (localStorage key 'cookie_consent'), your language preference, and security tokens used during checkout to protect against fraud and duplicated payments. Legal basis: legitimate interest / necessary for the service you requested. Retention: session to 12 months.

    3. Functional

These remember your preferences to improve the experience: selected language, grid zoom and view settings, and dismissed notices. They are stored locally in your browser and are never shared with third parties. Retention: until you clear your browser storage.

    4. Analytics

We record anonymous visit data (page visited, approximate country/region derived from IP, browser type, referrer, timestamp) to understand traffic and improve the wall. This runs only after you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics data is collected. Retention: up to 24 months in aggregated form.

    5. Payment and Third-Party Cookies

When you buy pixels, our payment processor Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payments and detect fraud. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe under its own privacy and cookie policies. Images and banners uploaded by users are served from our own storage; we do not embed third-party advertising or tracking networks.

    6. Cookies We Do Not Use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural tracking, data brokers, social media pixels, or fingerprinting scripts. We never sell any data collected through cookies.

    7. Managing Your Choices

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. To change your decision later, clear your browser's site data for pixelwall.art (or remove the 'cookie_consent' entry) and reload the page — the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; strictly necessary items are required, so some features such as login or checkout may stop working.

    8. Global Users

PixelWall.art is available worldwide. Depending on where you live, local rules such as the GDPR (Europe), the CCPA/CPRA (California), the LGPD (Brazil), PIPEDA (Canada), the UK GDPR, or Australia's Privacy Act may give you additional rights over data collected through cookies. We apply the same consent-first standard to every visitor, regardless of country.

    9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove technologies. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with a new 'Last updated' date, and where required we will ask for your consent again.

    10. Contact

Questions about cookies or your data? Use our contact page or write to hi@pixelwall.art and we will reply as soon as possible.
